Inventory management templates you can scan into

WiScanner Cloud ships ready-made sheet templates for common inventory jobs. Pick a template, adjust fields, invite the team and scan barcodes from the mobile app.

Who it’s for

Teams who want a proven column layout instead of designing a sheet from scratch.

The problem

Blank spreadsheets invite inconsistent columns. Templates encode a starting schema for receiving, counting and on-hand tracking.

How it works

  1. Open Cloud templates — In cloud.wiscanner.com choose a template when creating a sheet.
  2. Review columns — Keep what you need; hide or extend fields.
  3. Load starting rows — Import or scan the first items.
  4. Run the process — Receiving, cycle count or stock-in/out using the same live sheet.

Example sheet fields

FieldPurpose
Template-dependentInventory, receiving, cycle count and other Cloud templates each ship with their own starter columns—see each use case for the exact list.

What you get

  • Faster go-live than blank grids
  • Aligned with phone scan forms
  • Documented in Cloud use-case pages
  • Still fully customizable

Cloud vs local PC scanning

Template pages and use cases list field-level detail. This landing page is the commercial hub pointing to Cloud and related guides—not a duplicate how-to article.

Templates available in Cloud

When you create a sheet at cloud.wiscanner.com, you can start from seeded templates (keys below). Columns differ by template—preview in Cloud before importing production data. This list is illustrative of catalog keys, not a screenshot.

  • inventory — on-hand stock with qty / location / min stock
  • cycle-counting — compare expected vs counted qty
  • picklist — pick / pack style lists
  • equipment-checkout — asset / equipment handoff
  • last-mile-delivery — delivery tracking style rows
  • maintenance, lab-sample, warranty-register and other operational layouts
