Scan barcodes straight into Google Sheets — no computer required
Connect your Google account once, choose or create a Drive folder, then scan with your phone. WiScanner writes each barcode as a row in Google Sheets over the Google API — no PC client, no keyboard wedge, no desk setup on the warehouse floor.
Your phone is the whole scanning station
Many teams still drag a laptop to the aisle so scans can land in a spreadsheet. With Google Sheets direct mode, the phone talks to Google in the cloud. You never open the desktop app, never pair over WiFi to a PC, and never wait for a computer to wake up.
How Google Sheets scanning works
Three steps in the app — then you are scanning into a shared spreadsheet.
-
1
Connect your Google account
Sign in with Google inside WiScanner and allow access to create or update files in Drive. You stay in control of which account owns the spreadsheets.
-
2
Create a folder or enter a folder name
Start a new folder for this count or receiving run, or type the name of a folder that already exists in your Drive — for example WiScanner Counts or Warehouse 2026.
-
3
Scan — rows appear in Google Sheets
Open a scan group, read barcodes with the camera, and WiScanner pushes each value to the spreadsheet via the API. Barcode, time, and quantity (if enabled) land as new rows automatically.
Structured data in Google Sheets
Every session produces a spreadsheet your team can filter, pivot, or import into Shopify, WooCommerce, or an ERP — without retyping from paper.

WiScanner supports both workflows. Pick the one that matches where you work.
