Prefix

When this option is enabled, the chosen prefix is sent before every scanned or manually entered value (except quantity). You can use either a Command or a Value prefix.

Command – Choose one: Enter, Tab, or Space. This sends that key before the data.

Value – Enter any text. That text is sent before each scanned or manually entered value.

Prefix setting

Note: In Dynamic Scan, if a Prefix option is set there, this (global) Prefix setting is ignored.
